Formerly known as Laredo Energy Arena, and before that, Laredo Entertainment Center, Sames Auto Arena is a multi-purpose venue in Laredo, Texas. Boasting 32,000 square feet of continuous open floor space, the arena is the largest indoor convention space in South Texas, and can hold up to 9,622 people for some events. Part of a wider entertainment complex, Sames Auto Arena is surrounded by hotels, office parks, retail stores, restaurants, a boardwalk, jogging track, and a $1.5 million water feature. Inside, visitors can enjoy luxury suites, the Attitude Lounge, and the Star Bar, which features a "celebrity lounge" and a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. As well as hosting various major musicians during its 18 year history, Sames Auto Arena is a regular stop for sporting events, including WWE's Raw and SmackDown shows.
