As the bus and train station connecting to other cities is located in Scranton, it is naturally the busiest and most commercialised city in the Wyoming Valley. As well as being home to many museums, the city has a wide selection of dining options and offers an exciting night out.
While Wilkes-Barre is slightly quieter and more localised than Scranton, it has plenty of malls and restaurants to keep you occupied and satisfied. Its Downtown area in particular is often buzzing in the evening with couples and groups out for dinner and drinks.
While Scranton and Wilkes-Barre offer the excitement of a city, the Wyoming Valley is also a great place to escape and get back to nature. Vacation homes and guest houses populate the area which allow you to go for long walks, bike rides, and simply enjoy the outdoors.
