The urban-renewal Bricktown district, distinguished by its industrial yet trendy charm, is where the best of the city’s entertainment happens day and night. From speciality stores to eclectic bars and mini-golf courses, there’s something to peak your interest at every corner.
The Paseo Arts District, meanwhile, is distinguished by its colourful streets and artistic edge. Creatives and art-lovers will be in their element with so many galleries on their doorstep. With a number of the city’s top museums too, the district will also appeal to tourists keen to delve into the city’s history and culture.
The Business District, which sits between Bricktown and the Paseo Arts District, is not only a convenient location from which to explore the city, but it is also the most luxurious area to stay. Discerning travellers with a big budget and high expectations will, therefore, not be disappointed with what this refined area has to offer.
Midtown, on the other hand, is much more mid-range. Whilst it’s just a short walk from OKC’s other Downtown districts, it is much quieter and more affordable. The area also boasts OKC’s best variety of restaurants, making it the ideal locale for foodie travellers.
Families will feel at home in the Adventure Districts because, sure enough, it promises bags of fun and adventure. As well as the Oklahoma City zoo, science museum, and cowboy museum, there’s cinemas, ice cream parlours, and more for all ages to enjoy.
The Adventure District and other areas in North Oklahoma City are much more budget-friendly than those Downtown, but with streetcars, trains, buses, and more, it’s easy to reach the centre too.
