📍 Where To Stay

Sports fans will be in the centre of the action in the Arena District where Columbus’ professional sports teams play their home games. Situated next to Downtown, you can go from a cosmopolitan cocktail bar to a Blue Jackets game in minutes.

The mural-adorned Short North Arts District is the city’s diverse cultural centre with a big LGBT community. With boutiques, restaurants, gay-friendly bars, and contemporary galleries, there is always something to eat, see, drink, and do in this fun neighbourhood.

German Village and the Brewery District offers an edgier and more youthful side to the city whilst maintaining its historic red-brick charm. During the day, the area is all about its artisanal craft and independent shops selling everything from fudge to books. At night it comes alive as one of the city’s best dining and entertainment hubs.

Franklinton is also gaining popularity for its cool art galleries, breweries, and social events, making it ideal for those who want to dive into a fresh arts and culture scene. Situated west of the Scioto River and Downtown, it has a slightly more residential feel than German Village.

Alternatively, hang out with the cool kids in Ohio State Campus and Clintonville, located a few kilometres north of Downtown. With such a big student population, the campus area has become a city in itself offering everything from shopping to entertainment, and nightlife — with a millennial twist.

Olde Town East and Franklin Park, King Lincoln District, and Bexley, are quiet leafy neighbourhoods known for their stately Victorian homes and family appeal. Although they are considered residential, they are just minutes away from Downtown.

About Ohio Stadium

Ohio Stadium is the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. It is located in Columbus, on the campus of the University of Ohio.

Known as the Horseshoe, the stadium is the largest by capacity in the state of Ohio and the third largest football stadium on a university campus in the whole United States. It has a capacity of 102,780. From 1996 to 1998, the MLS team Columbus Crew played their home games at Ohio Stadium. It is regularly used as a concert venue as well as a sports ground.

There are plentiful food and drink options at Ohio Stadium, including in-house smoked BBQ, hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, and nachos. Alcoholic beverages are offered until the end of the 3rd quarter of each game.

Gluten free options are available at 19A.

💂 Entry Gates

Visitors are encouraged to arrive well in advance of kickoff, with their game ticket on their phone. Each guest should try to have their own ticket on their own phone, and screenshots will not be accepted.

There are many restrooms located all throughout the stadium.

Accessible restrooms are located near sections 8A, 9A, 10A, 11A, 17A, 18A, 19A, 28A, 33A, 34A, 37A, 38A, 3B, 12B, 28B, 7C, 10C, 11C, 13C, 14C, 15C, 19C, 20C, 23C, 28C, 29C, 17D, 19D, and 25D.

🆘 Help Points

Guest Services booths are located near Gate 13, Gate 14 and near sections 5A, 38A, 2B, 5C and 6C. Staff are available to help visitors with any questions or concerns.

First Aid stations are located throughout Ohio Stadium at sections 16A, 17A, 12B, 23C, 24C and 32A. Over the counter medications such as Tylenol and Advil are available from self-dispensing vending machines outside each first aid room, at $1 per item.

Lost and Found is located at 5A Guest Services and remains open for 30 minutes after the end of each event.
