As the capital city of New York, Albany is home to a number of impressive executive hotels and rentals fit for the most discerning of guests. However, the city stays diverse and welcoming to all budgets with a selection of affordable accommodation options too.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed to be brought into the arena. However, there are tasty treats of all kinds available inside, including pretzels, popcorn, french fries, and almost anything else your heart could desire. The venue does allow common sense to prevail when dealing with patrons with special dietary/medical needs. There are also many gluten-free options!
Guests attending MVP Arena events are advised that bags, backpacks, luggage, coolers, parcels, briefcases, and like articles will be strictly prohibited from the facility. Further, no knives of any kind will be allowed, nor will any weapon of any kind be permitted on the premises.
All guests will be subject to search, at the MVP Arena's discretion, of their person and/or possessions (including women's handbags of normal size, which may be allowed entry after such search). Patrons with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances, and no storage or "check-in area" will be provided for such items.
Toilets are conveniently located throughout the venue.
Accessible Entry
One exterior access ramp at the southeast corner (South Pearl and Hudson Streets) affords access to the MVP Arena Box Office and exterior elevator, which travels between the arena and concourse levels. Wheelchair users and the mobility-impaired should use this elevator to enter and exit. The Beaver Street entrance to the arena atrium is at ground level, providing access to the box office and exterior elevator. One box office window has been designated for wheelchair users. All telephones and drinking fountains are also designated for wheelchair users.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking is available at surrounding parking garages. If walking is difficult, it is suggested that a mobility impaired patron be dropped off in front of the MVP Arena.

First Aid
A full-service first aid station on the arena concourse will be supplemented by roving emergency medical technicians. Please contact an usher if you need medical assistance.
