Kauffman Stadium is located around 8 miles southeast of Downtown Kansas City. The venue can be accessed by car or public transport.

There are 9 official parking lots open to Kauffman Stadium visitors:
Parking at Kauffman Stadium can be purchased online from the Kansas City Royals website. While the Royals encourage fans to secure their parking passes in advance of their visit, parking can also be purchased upon arrival. Payment is made via credit card at the designated tollbooths at Gates 2–6.
Parking lots open several hours before the game, depending on attendance, and close one hour after the game ends.
Kauffman Stadium offers more than 500 parking spaces for guests with disabilities. These can be found in all parking lots except Lots L and N. These spaces are reserved for properly licensed or tagged vehicles. Guests should inform a member of staff if they wish to park in a disabled space.
Visitors wishing to drop-off a disabled guest at the stadium entrance should enter through Gate 3 or Gate 4. From there, they should inform a member of staff, who will direct them to a drop-off point at Gate D.
Golf carts are also available for transporting disabled guests to their gate. To make use of this service, please ask a member of staff or call the Gameday Assistance Hotline on 816-504-4040 (option #5) once parked. After the game, shuttles pick up guests requiring assistance from all Gates (A, B, C, D, and E).
Local cabs and rideshare services, like Uber and Lyft, can pick up guests from the middle of Lot A.
There are 2 main bus routes for visitors to Kauffman Stadium. Both routes are operated by Ride KC.
As a major US city, Kansas City offers a full range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. The city is uniquely split between two states, and since Kansas City, Missouri is where its central core sits, accommodation tends to be more pricey here than in the suburbs of Kansas City, Kansas.
Kauffman Stadium guests are permitted to bring outside food and water into the venue, provided that the food is no larger than an individual portion and fits inside a clear, plastic bag no bigger than 1 gallon in size. Water must be unfrozen and in an unsealed plastic bottle, 1 litre or less. Single-serving soft-sided juice boxes or milk containers are also permitted.

Amtrak trains serve Kansas City's Union Station, which is around 10 miles (15 minute drive) northwest of Kauffman Stadium.
Amtrak's Southwest Chief service passes through Kansas City daily, travelling to Chicago in the North and Los Angeles in the West.
Kauffman Stadium is a 650 m (8 min) walk from the nearest hotel – the Best Western Premier (Kansas City Sports Complex).

For Friday – Sunday games, or on giveaway days, all gates open 1.5 hours prior to game time.
For Monday - Thursday games, all gates open 1 hour prior to game time.
The Outfield Experience and Boulevard Brewing Craft and Draft open 1.5 hours before all games, with entry through Gates A & E.
Restrooms are located on all levels of the ballpark, and all restrooms are accessible.
Family restrooms are located near Sections 115, 140, 201, 210, 218, 237, 245, 252, 305, 320.

Radios are available from Plaza Guest Services behind the Diamond Club lobby.
Elevators and escalators are located on the first and third base side of the stadium across from Gate B and Gate D.
Elevators in the Royals Hall of Fame lobby in Left Field, or in the Diamond Club, can also provide access to the 100 Level.
Escalators are located on the first and third base side of the stadium across from Gate B and Gate D, as well as behind home plate.
Noise reducing headphones are available from Guest Services near the Diamond Club entrance on the Plaza level, and across from Section 421 on the View level.

Valid service animals are permitted at Kauffman Stadium.
Members of staff can provide wheelchair escorts for disabled guests at each gate.
Kauffman Stadium is a cashless venue, and therefore, there are no ATMs onsite. Instead, the stadium provides a number of reverse ATMs that can load cash onto a payment card, which can then be used inside and outside Kauffman Stadium.
Reverse ATMs are located in the Plaza Team Store, Sections 221, 234, 419, 423, and in the outfield behind Crown Vision.
The main First Aid office is located on the Plaza level behind the Diamond Club lobby. A second first aid station can be found on the View level behind section 420.
Guest Services locations can be found on the Plaza level behind the Diamond Club lobby, and on the View level behind home plate near Section 420.
Water fountains are available at Sections 203, 210, 221, 234, 244, 252, 409, 419, 420, 421, and 431. All water fountains are accessible.
