Accessible parking is available at the RiverCentre Parking Ramp. Guests using the RiverCentre Parking Ramp may access Grand Casino Arena via the skyway, which is connected to Grand Casino Arena. Another convenient option is the Kellogg Parking Ramp. Additional parking spots are available at surrounding ramps.
Oversized vehicle parking is not available at Grand Casino Arena. Those in search of oversized vehicle parking are encouraged to contact Union Depot Lot C at 651-202-2741 to make arrangements.

Typically, gates open 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Xcel Energy Center has a "no re-entry policy" which means guests may not exit the building during an event and then re-enter the building at a later time. To gain access to the building, guests must present a valid, unused ticket.
No bags are permitted inside the arena to help reduce staff touchpoints and expedite entry times for guests. This includes clutches, clear bags, purses, backpacks, etc. Guests arriving at the venue with these items will be asked to return them to their car. Medical and diaper bags are permitted at Gate 1 and are subject to x-ray screening.
A taxi stand is located on Kellogg Boulevard on the south side of the arena.
Gate 4, at the northeast corner of Grand Casino Arena Center on 5th Street, is the official pick-up and drop-off location for Xcel Energy Center events. Gate 4 is near section 120 and the Michelob Golden Light Taphouse.

Amtrak and Empire Builder services connecting to other cities are available from St. Paul-Minneapolis Station which is a 1.3 km (16 min) walk from the venue.

As the arena is located close to the centre of St. Paul, there is plenty to do and see within walking distance. Nearby Irvine Park, Mississippi National River & Recreation Area, and Harriet Island Regional Park offer plenty of green spaces to explore. Ticket prices for events at Xcel Energy Center vary depending on numerous factors such as the teams or players competing, the ticket type, and the ticket seller. You can purchase tickets at the arena's box office which is located in the main lobby at the southeast entrance of Xcel Energy Center (Gate 1) and is open Monday to Friday from 12:00-17:00, closed Saturday and Sunday, and open 4 hours prior to the ticketed event time on event days. It is generally more convenient to purchase tickets online as you can compare ticket types and prices and secure yourself the right ticket for you before arriving at the arena.
