FedExField Stadium is located 5 miles east of Washington DC, in Prince George's County, Maryland. The venue is easily accessible by car, bus, and light rail services, and there are multiple on-site parking lots as well.
Below you can find general information on travel and parking for Northwest Stadium. Individual events may have additional/restricted services available, and so we recommend clicking through to the event and viewing the Travel & Parking tab for event-specific information.
All permits are valid for 1 parking space and are designated to a specific colour and letter lot. Parking is available to purchase online for game days.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking spaces are located in parking lots designated on the map above. Parking attendants will direct those with a FedExField Purple, Orange or Green parking pass and a valid state-issued disabled parking permit and/or license plate to these areas. Additionally, golf cart transportation assistance is available.
Metro Access vans can be scheduled in advance of FedExField events through Metro Access. Trips can be scheduled online or by contacting WMATA by phone. Vans will drop off and pick up at Gate A and Bank of America Gate (Gate E) pregame and postgame.
Code compliant public ramps are available at FedExField. These ramps are located adjacent to Gate A, Gate D, Bank of America Gate (Gate E), and Gate H.
Ride Share Lot
Take advantage of the Ride Share Lot conveniently located at the Prince George County Sports & Learning Complex adjacent to the FedExField parking lots and a short walk to Gate D.
Drop Offs
Enter your destination address as Prince George's County Sports Complex located at 8001 Sheriff Rd, Hyattsville MD 20785. Your driver will be instructed to drop you off at the Ride Share Lot adjacent to FedExField.
Pick-Ups
Exit the stadium and follow the Ride Share Lot way-finding signs to Sean Taylor Road there will be ample signage directing you to the Ride Share Lot located at Prince George's County Sports Complex located at 8001 Sheriff Rd, Hyattsville MD 20785. You will be able to request a ride when you're in the Ride Share Lot. Fans will only be able to request a pickup at the Ride Share Lot.
Bus lines with stations closest to FedEx Field:
FedExField offers an extensive range of concession stands, including several that represent local businesses. EllaRay's Cafe serves delicious slow-smoked BBQ sliders and crispy fried catfish nuggets, while Fireman's Cafe is known for its soul food, with offerings including mac n cheese, hush puppies, fried fish, and "shrab" balls made from shrimp and crab. At KitchenCray, visitors can enjoy chicken wings and mumbo sauce. For street style tacos, try Casa de Avila, or for Caribbean delicacies head for Seafood at the Shack, renowned for its curry crab fritters and jerk chicken sliders with plantain. Those with a sweet tooth might like South Mountain Ice Cream Shop, whose "Hog Wild Sundae" includes vanilla ice cream, peanut butter syrup, peanut butter candies, peanut butter cups, and peanut butter-filled pretzels.
Gates Open
For Commanders games, Bud Light Party Pavilion and Merrill Lynch Touchdown Club open 3 hours prior to kickoff, while general stadium gates open 2 hours prior to kickoff. For all other events, gate opening times will vary.
Re-Entry Policy (Stadium)
Once a guest exits FedExField, there is no re-admission except on a full, unused ticket for that day's event.
You can travel to FedExField via public transportation using the Metrorail system. Just take the Blue or Silver Lines to the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. The Morgan Boulevard Station is located on Garrett Morgan Boulevard and is within 1 mile walking distance to stadium.
Family Restrooms
Family restrooms with baby-changing stations are located at the elevator towers at Gate A and the Bank of America Gate (Gate E) on all levels.
Mother's Room
The Mother's Room is a dedicated space for nursing mothers to feed or pump. It is located in Suite 128 on Level 4 in the west corner of FedExField. Fans who would like to use the Mother's Room can pick up a pass at any Guest Services locations; directions to the room are printed on the back.
Accessibility
Please note that accessible seating and parking is limited, so please call ahead and/or arrive early to ensure availability.
Escalators
The Club Level escalators, located at Section 101 and Section 122, are available to Guests with a Club, Dream Seats, Loge, Suite or Owner's Club ticket. An escalator which accesses the Upper Level is located to the left of entrance Gate A. The Upper Level escalator drops Guests off at Section 412.
Assistance Animals
Certified guide dogs are permitted for assisting disabled guests
First Aid Stations
First Aid stations are located at the elevator towers at Sections 103 and 125 on the Lower Level, on the Club Level at Sections 303 and 324, and the Upper Level at Sections 403 and 430.
Guest Services Booths
Guest Services Booths are located across from Sections 104, 124, 304, 324, 404, and 431. The Guest Services staff will assist in making your visit more enjoyable by providing information regarding FedExField and its services.
Lost & Found
If an item is lost at FedExField during an event, please visit the nearest Guest Services Booth.
Northwest Stadium has a capacity of approximately 58,000. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
