Rideshare drop-off is located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive, in front of Gate 2 from the Dominque Wilkins Statue to State Farm Drive.

🚆 Train

Train is a popular way to reach State Farm Arena because underneath it is GWCC/Philips Arena CNN Center Station, which has connections with multiple Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) lines:

Eastbound: Blue (Indian Creek) or Green (Edgewood/Candler Park) Lines – GWCC/Philips Arena CNN Center Station
Westbound: Blue (Hamilton E. Holmes) or Green (Bankhead) Lines – GWCC/Philips Arena CNN Center Station

If you're travelling from the north or south of the arena, you can take the Red (Airport/North Springs) or Gold (Airport/Doraville) Lines to Five Points Station, where you can change lines for free onto either Westbound train: Blue (Hamilton E. Holmes) or Green (Bankhead).

State Farm Arena is also accessible via the Atlanta Streetcar (ATLSC) tram system. Get off at Centennial Olympic Park stop, which is 250 m (3 min) walk from the stadium.

About State Farm Arena

State Farm Arena is a basketball stadium in Atlanta. It is the home of the Atlanta Hawks NBA team and was known as the Philips Arena until 2018.

📜 History

The venue opened in 1999, replacing the Omni Coliseum. It has had numerous tenants over the years alongside the Hawks; the National Hockey League's Atlanta Thrashers resided there until their move to Winnipeg in 2011, as did the Women's National Basketball Association's Atlanta Dream between 2008 and 2016 and again in 2019.

As well as numerous UFC and wrestling events, the venue has also held the 2003 NBA All-Star Game, the 2004 US Figure Skating Championships, and the 2008 NHL All-Star Game.
