Lake Buena Vista is the most strategic neighbourhood to stay in if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the Disney Parks due to its centrality. It may be pretty pricey, but the area offers many exciting themed hotels and popular restaurants.
Stay on International Drive, the ‘Vegas Strip’ of Orlando if you want to be surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops, and have your pick of nightly evening entertainment. It may not be as close to the Disney parks as Lake Buena Vista, but its free shuttle service certainly makes up for it.
For a quieter and more refined Orlando experience stay in Kissimmee. Its spacious private villas offer a welcome contrast to the vibrant and energetic atmosphere of International Drive and the amusement parks, yet it’s just a short 15-minute drive away.
Mix the excitement and adventure of Orlando’s parks with the art and culture of the polished Winter Park. As well as pretty boutiques and restaurants, the area is abundant with exceptional museums and galleries.
For a more down-to-earth experience of Orlando, stay Downtown on Lake Eola where you can watch a nightly fountain display, catch live sports, eat whatever your stomach desires, and shop ‘til you drop.
As Orlando’s attractions are widely spread, most visitors opt for a hire car to get around quickly and freely. However, some hotels and resorts offer free shuttles to popular parks.
