The XL Center is easily accessible via car, bus, train, and Amtrak services. There are plenty of places to park around venue, as well as ample routes for public transportation and station stops which are a short walk from the XL Center.

Parking is available surrounding the XL Center and throughout downtown Hartford. There are 45 parking lots and garages in downtown Hartford. That’s tens of thousands of available parking spaces – some of which are free!

The Hartford Line is a commuter rail service between New Haven, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts, using Amtrak's New Haven–Springfield Line. Take the Hartford Line to Hartford, which is 800 m (10 min) walk to the XL Center.
Patrons can also take the Amtrak, which offers a convenient, affordable service to Hartford from Springfield, Windsor, Meriden, New Haven and points beyond . The XL Center is just 400 m (5 min) walk from Hartford Union Station.
Although Hartford isn’t one of the biggest tourist destinations in the US, Connecticut is considered one of the country’s most expensive states, and accommodation prices can be on the higher end of the spectrum.
Concessions are located on the concourse level of the arena. Patrons can expect a wide variety of food and drink offerings, including foot-long hot dogs with specialty toppings, pulled pork sandwiches, mac &cheese, cotton candy, popcorn, and snowcones!
No outside food or beverages are permitted into the XL Center.
Re-Entry
Once Guests enter the XL Center Veterans Memorial Coliseum for an event they are not allowed to leave and then return for that same event.
Entry Search
All guests will be subject to search of their person and/or possessions (including women's handbags of normal size which may be allowed entry after such search). Guests attending XL Center events are advised that bags, backpacks, luggage, coolers, parcels, briefcases, and like articles will be strictly prohibited from the facility. Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances to return items to their vehicle or dispose of the items. No storage or "check-in-area" will be provided.

Limited Mobility Seating
This seating arrangement is for guests who are able to walk up and down multiple steps to reach their seats. These seats are typically located in the upper rows of various 100 level seating sections throughout the arena.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available for most events from the XL Center Guest Services, located on the concourse level, outside of section 124. To ensure that the devices are promptly returned, a major credit card or a driver’s license is required to use the devices.
Wheelchair Space Locations
Guests with disabilities and their companions may enjoy wheelchair space locations that are dispersed throughout the facility in numerous price ranges.
Service Animals/Guide Dogs
Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Guests bringing in service animals may request accessible seating however cannot occupy additional seats unless a ticket has been purchased for the adjacent seat. Animal relief areas are available and can be requested at Guest Services, outside of section 124.
Elevators
Assistance is available for any guests with disabilities who need access to the Mezzanine Level for floor or lower bowl seating. To request assistance, please visit one of the XL Center Guest Services booths outside of sections 124 or ask any member of the Guest Services team.
First Aid
A first aid station is located on the coliseum concourse behind Section 113.
Lost & Found
If you lose an item while the event is still taking place, please report the incident to the Guest Relations Booth located behind section 124. Otherwise, please contact the Security Department at (860) 241-4280 if items were lost.
PeoplesBank Arena has a capacity of approximately 16,294. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
