Ffos Las Racecourse is in South Wales, situated just off the A484 between Llanelli and Carmarthen, and is about 30 km from Swansea. Set in a rural area of Carmarthen, the racecourse is clearly signposted on your approach. Due to its rural location, the racecourse is best reached by car and there is free parking available. Blinkers Bar in the main grandstand offers hot and cold food and drinks and there’s always plenty of choice for food and drinks on-site throughout the day, from something warm and hearty, to a light and tasty snack.
Food and drink cannot be brought in to the racecourse. Bag searches are carried out and any visitors found bringing items in will be asked to consume or dispose of the items before entering.
Barbecues are not allowed to be used at the racecourse.

The racecourse arranges a free bus to and from the racecourse. The bus operates from Llanelli train station with dedicated pick up and return times. The bus is free of charge but operates on a strictly first-come, first-served basis and cannot be pre-booked. Please check individual fixtures for exact times this service will operate. Please note it cannot be guaranteed that the bus times will fall in line with the scheduled train times. If you have a journey booked and are required to be at the station by a specific time then it is advised that your own transport is arranged e.g. taxi.
First Cymru operates a Monday to Saturday public bus service from Llanelli to Carmarthen (No 197). It has stops in Trimsaran, Carway, Ponthenri, and Meinciau.

Ffos Las will accommodate helicopters on racedays by request. Advance notice is required to ensure arrival and departure times do not conflict with racing or other bookings on the day.
Pembrey Airport is only 3 miles from Ffos Las and offers commercial aircraft charters, commercial helicopter charters, passenger handling in a new dedicated arrival and departure lounge, and aviation refuelling with Av-Gas and Jet fuel (pressure or gravity).
