Newcastle is a pretty affordable city to visit, meaning it’s easy to find cheap and cheerful accommodation if that’s what you prefer. However, as Newcastle is not a glamorous city, don’t expect to find too many high-end hotels.
There are multiple food and drink outlets in operation on match days:
Toilets are located throughout the stadium.
Accessibility
Whilst disabled attendees can access the stadium via any entrance, it is recommended that wheelchair users access the stadium through either Gate 8 (West Stand), or Gates 1-4 (South Stand), as these are located closest to the majority of the accessible viewing areas. Disabled attendees wishing to access West Stand hospitality areas should use the main stadium entrance, which is located in close proximity to an internal, disabled-accessible lift to the upper floors of the stand. All accessible viewing areas are partially-covered.
For the ambulant disabled, no specific area is recommended, however, there are several seats available within easy access for people using crutches, sticks, or walking frames, throughout the stadium. For more information on match day accessibility, contact the stadium directly:
