As Redcar Racecourse is centrally located in Redcar, there are some great public transport connections including via train and bus. There are also good road links around the course and ample free car parking is available on site for those wishing to arrive by car.

There are 2 Grandstand Enclosure parking options for racedays, both of which are available free of charge:
The majority of Grandstand Enclosure parking is on hard standing, where as the majority of the Course Enclosure parking is on grass in the Centre Course area.

If you are looking to hire a coach to travel to and from the races, the racecourse recommends Coatham Coaches (01287 65 22 22 - http://coathamcoaches.co.uk/). The Coach Park is located in the Centre Course. Please follow signage for the Course Enclosure.
Middlesbrough is an affordable town to visit with plenty of mid-range and budget hotels to stay in, as well as a number of quaint B&Bs, most of which are located within the town centre itself.
Choose from a wide range of bars, restaurants, and catering outlets where there is something to cover all tastes and budgets: the Crow's Nest Restaurant offers a fine dining hospitality package; the Voltigeur Restaurant has lighter bites; Malton & Middleham Bars, Zetland Bar, and takeaway vending vans will sell food and snacks.
In the Course Enclosure (located in the Centre Course area), racegoers are welcome to bring a picnic but are reminded that alcohol is limited to personal consumption only (4 cans or 1/2 bottle of wine per person, but no spirits or glass bottles).
Portable/disposable BBQs and gazebos are not permitted within the racecourse enclosures. Please do not bring them with you as you will be refused entrance.
Remember to leave plenty of time when planning your journey as the roads and routes around the racecourse can become very busy in the lead up to gates opening and the first race.
Use the entrance indicated on your ticket; either Grandstand Enclosure turnstiles or Course Enclosure turnstiles.
