The Salford Community Stadium is located in Eccles, Greater Manchester. It is well-connected to the city of Manchester to the east, and can also be accessed via Liverpool, to the west. You can reach the stadium easily by car or public transport, but park & ride services are recommended if you are visiting on a rugby match day.

The stadium can be reached easily by car; it is locate close to junction 11 of the M60, and can also be reached by taking the M62/M602.

Disabled parking
For disabled visitors, there is accessible parking in the Salford Community Stadium (West) Car Park, just 30 metres away from the stadium entrance. As a major English city, Manchester’s accommodation can be quite costly, although there are a number of brilliant budget hotels and hostels for those watching their pennies. Manchester is certainly not short of swanky modern and grand traditional high-end hotels for those more concerned about luxury either.
There are food and drink outlets located in all 4 stands.
On Sale Sharks match days, there is also a fan zone located within the North Stand which houses many food and drink outlets.

It takes less than 15 minutes to travel to the stadium by car from Eccles station and less than 20 minutes from central Salford. There is a designated drop-off point directly outside the front of the stadium (off Stadium Way). As Stadium Way and the stadium drop-off point both become very busy on match days, those travelling by car are encouraged to allow extra time for their journeys, and arrive early if possible. Pick-ups and departures following the final whistle may take some time, due to the amount of pedestrians leaving the stadium.
Park and ride
There are 2 park and ride services operate on Sale Sharks match days: the Trafford Centre Park and Ride, and the Stockport Shuttle Bus. Both park and ride services drop spectators off at and pick them up from the stadium itself; the park and ride car parks are based at the following locations, and spaces on the shuttles can be pre-booked for specific match days:

There is also an unofficial Sale Sharks shuttle bus service from The Brook pub (Brooklands Road, Sale), which departs 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off, and returns 30 minutes after the match. This shuttle can be booked by phone: +44 (0) 161-973-7773.

Private coach or minibus
On-site stadium parking is available for private hire coaches and buses along Stadium Way, an approximately 200 m (2 min) walk from the stadium, however pre-booking is essential; for more information, use the online links or telephone number in the Parking section.
The nearest train station to the ground is Eccles train station, which is well-connected to Greater Manchester and the city centre itself. It is a 4.2 km (50 min) walk away from the stadium, or you can make the journey by Metrolink (to the Trafford Centre), or via the 67 bus to Newlands Avenue.
City Airport & Heliport (Barton) is only a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the stadium - conveniently-located for any spectators who are lucky enough to travel by helicopter.
It takes just over 30 minutes to cycle to the stadium from Sale town centre. From central Manchester, it takes closer to 40 minutes. There are several free bike racks directly outside the stadium, adjacent to the Club Shop entrance (West Stand); these can be accessed via Stadium Way.
It is possible to walk to the stadium from Eccles, Sale, Old Trafford, and other nearby suburbs. The Manchester Ship Canal runs alongside the stadium and is pedestrianised in parts. Travelling on foot from central Salford, Manchester city centre, or beyond, meanwhile, will likely take upwards of 2 hours, so travelling by public transport is recommended.

Accessibility
Stadium access is via a level, accessible, and non-slip surface. The ticket office is also surrounded by level, accessible ground. There are also lowered counters, suitable for wheelchair users, at the club shop and all match day kiosks (throughout the concourses of all 4 stands).

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at the stadium, but spectators who require them are encouraged to alert the ticket office ahead of their visit, so provisions can be made by stadium staff upon arrival:
Hearing loops
All ticket office windows are equipped with hearing loop facilities, however there is no such facility in the club shop.
Quiet room
There is a "Quiet Room" for autistic spectators or spectators with needs similar to those of autistic people, located in the north-west concourse (West Stand). It is available for fans of any team, and is open at all times on match days.
Other
On Sale Sharks match days, "Ref Link" hearing kits are available to purchase for £12 - they include access to the referee's audio, or full match commentary.
Information points
The main reception and ticket office can both be found at the front of the stadium, in the middle of the West Stand; staff are able to help with general queries, as well as assist with sales, collections, and ticketing issues.
First aid
There are first aid points located at the north end of the West Stand and at the south end of the East Stand.
Salford Community Stadium (Salford City Stadium) has a capacity of approximately 11,500. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
