Altrincham Ice Dome is easily accessed via public transport which connects to Manchester City Centre and further afield. Those wishing to drive can take advantage of the car parking available at the arena.

There is council parking available at the arena. Charges apply Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm including bank holidays. Parking is free on Sundays.
Parking is free for disabled badge holders for up to 3 hours.
There are bus and coach services connecting to Altrincham Station which is right next to the arena.
Altrincham Station is right next to the arena and is on the Manchester Piccadilly to Chester line. There are also tram and bus links here.
As a major English city, Manchester’s accommodation can be quite costly, although there are a number of brilliant budget hotels and hostels for those watching their pennies. Manchester is certainly not short of swanky modern and grand traditional high-end hotels for those more concerned about luxury either.
No food or drinks purchased outside of the arena are permitted to be brought into the arena for consumption on match night.
The venue offers a delicious range of food options for all the family to enjoy. From healthy light bites such as jacket potatoes to delicious favourites like burgers and hot dogs. The venue also serves Lavazza coffee and a range of other hot drinks to keep you warm off the ice.
The main bar will be open serving you spirits, prosecco, beer, and soft drinks all evening as well as pop-up bars around the site.
Doors open 1 hour before face-off. As part of recent security reviews, security checks will be undertaken on entry of all handbags & rucksacks. Please allow yourself sufficient time to enter the arena.
Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them at all times, and the venue accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings brought into the arena.
There are toilet facilities conveniently located throughout the arena.
Planet Ice has a capacity of approximately 2,140. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
