The M25 is only a 25 minutes drive away. Please check on parking availability before you travel. There is limited parking available at the Copper Box Arena.

There is no parking (other than accessible parking) at the Copper Box.

🚍 Coach & Bus

The Copper Box Arena can reached on public bus route 388. Get off at Blackfriars station (stops M & N), which is directly outside the Copper Box Arena.

🚆 Train

The Copper Box Arena can be reached via overground train. Get off at Hackney Wick, which is a 450 m (5 min) walk to Copper Box Arena.

The Copper Box Arena can also be reached via underground train. Get off at Strafford, which is about a 1.3 km (16 min) walk to Copper Box Arena.

🚴 Cycling

There are more than 140 cycle racks outside the Copper Box Arena, including a Santander Cycles docking station located outside the centre.

Accommodation in London can be on the pricey side. However, this huge city has plenty of options available from hostels to luxury hotels and, combined with its sprawling transport network, there are places to stay for all budgets and tastes.

📍 Where To Stay

The most central areas of London include Mayfair, Marylebone, Soho, Covent Garden, and Fitzrovia; all will put you in good stead to easily access the city’s biggest tourist attractions and nightlife. However, this convenience comes at a cost and hotel prices will be some of the most expensive in the city.

Bordering to the west is Kensington & Chelsea. This elegant, family-friendly area is also near to a number of top tourist attractions and has good access to the city centre, as well as a bustling restaurant scene. As one of the most high-end areas of London, it is also one of the most expensive to stay.

To the east of the centre, you will find areas like Farringdon and Bank; and to the south are Waterloo and London Bridge. These areas are slightly more affordable and, as well as having their own things to do, still provide excellent and easy access to the city's highlights.

If you’re keen to be close to the biggest nightlife, Soho is a popular, but the edgier Camden, Shoreditch, and Angel are also great choices and have more affordable accommodation options.

Historical, maritime Greenwich in south-east London offers a more peaceful backdrop than central locations, making it good for families, and is about 25 minutes by train from the city centre.

There are many more great areas to stay in London and, as an expensive city, budget will often be a determining factor. Our best advice is to find accommodation near to a good underground stop or bus route to make moving around this vast city as easy as possible.

Since hosting events at the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the Copper Box Arena has repurposed its versatile space again and again, accommodating fans of badminton, basketball, gymnastics, and wheelchair rugby, to name but a few!
