Beach bums will feel at home along the Eastbourne Promenade where you can benefit from glorious views of the English Channel and proximity to the beach and pier.
The town centre is located just behind the promenade, and while accommodation located here may not offer sea views, it does offer more bang for your buck. Plus, you’ll benefit from being central to the town’s nightlife, and the train station will be on your doorstep.
For those who want the sea views with a bit more quietude than Eastbourne Promenade can offer, head north along the coast towards Normans Bay where some of its most covetable and pricey accommodation can be found.
Roselands, immediately north of the town centre, is a perfect quiet neighbourhood for families who want to be able to reach the beach on foot without being swept up by the crowds of tourists. It’s also within walking distance to a number of attractions including Treasure Island Adventure Park and Eastbourne Redoubt.
Nature lovers should head south of the town centre to Meads; while it’s just 2 km from Eastbourne pier and all of the town’s top attractions, it is also a short walk away from the South Downs.
