The Flowerpot

The Flowerpot is a landmark real ale pub and nationally recognised live music venue in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter. Located on King Street, it combines a traditional pub atmosphere with a dedicated music space and guest accommodation above the bar.

It hosts an extensive programme of live music, including rock, blues, folk, indie and tribute acts, with performances both at weekends and on selected midweek nights. Acoustic sessions and regular events, such as Monday roots nights and Sunday sessions, sit alongside a strong schedule of full band shows.

Over recent decades The Flowerpot has built a reputation as one of Derby’s premier small venues, attracting both local performers and internationally touring artists.
