Abu Dhabi is an expensive city to visit with a soft spot for the finer things in life. This means that while there are many luxurious boutique hotels and resorts, budget accommodation is a little harder to come by. The city centre is situated on the tip of a peninsula surrounded by tiny islands along the Gulf Coast, which is where the majority of its hotels are located.
