Twenty One Pilots, also known as TØP, is an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. They are known for their diverse musical style mixing alternative, indie pop, rock, and hip-hop with introspective lyrics.
Formed in 2009 by Tyler Joseph along with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, the group changed to a duo when Thomas and Salih left in 2011 and of Josh Dun joined.
