The Trojans are the football team of Troy University in Troy, Alabama. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the West Division of the Sun Belt Conference.
Troy claims 21 conference championships, including 6 Sun Belt titles since joining the conference in 2004. The Trojans saw previous spells in the Alabama Intercollegiate Conference, the Gulf South Conference, and the Southland Conference.
The Trojans play their home games on Larry Blakeney Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium, which has a capacity of 30,000 and is nicknamed "the Vet."
More than 30 Trojans have been drafted into the NFL.
