The Rockets are the football team of the University of Toledo in Ohio. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Toledo claims 14 conference titles, the most recent coming in 2017 when the team beat the Akron Zips to win the MAC championship. Since 1936, when the AP Poll was first put into use, the Rockets have finished in the top 25 teams 4 times.
