Tim McGraw, born Samuel Timothy McGraw on 1 May 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana, United States, is a prominent American country music singer and actor. Based out of Nashville, he is associated primarily with country and country pop, alongside elements of adult contemporary and Southern rock.
Rising to fame in the 1990s, he broke through with the album "Not a Moment Too Soon", followed by a run of hit records including "Everywhere", "Live Like You Were Dying", "Let It Go" and "Standing Room Only". His catalogue features landmark singles such as "Don't Take the Girl", "It's Your Love", "I Like It, I Love It", "Live Like You Were Dying" and "Humble and Kind". Over his career he has received multiple Grammy Awards as well as numerous honours from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. McGraw has also built a successful acting career with roles in films like "Friday Night Lights", "The Blind Side" and "Country Strong", and he starred in the television series "1883" alongside his wife, fellow country star Faith Hill.
