The Pussycat Dolls, also known as PCD, are an American girl group and dance ensemble from Los Angeles, United States. Originally founded in 1995 by choreographer Robin Antin as a neo-burlesque troupe, they were later developed into a pop recording group under Interscope Records in the early 2000s.
The classic recording line-up featured Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt. Blending R&B, pop and dance-pop, they became one of the defining girl groups of the 2000s with hit singles such as "Don't Cha", "Stickwitu", "Buttons", "When I Grow Up", "I Hate This Part" and "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)". Their studio albums "PCD" (2005) and "Doll Domination" (2008) established them as a major global act.
After disbanding in 2010, the group reunited intermittently, returning in 2019 with the single "React". In 2026, Scherzinger, Roberts and Wyatt launched a new era as a trio, releasing the single "Club Song" and embarking on the "PCD Forever" tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "PCD".
