The Big Dance on Cup Day is a thrilling flat racing fixture for thoroughbred racehorses and is held at Royal Randwick Racecourse just south of Sydney, Australia.
The Big Dance on Cup Day is part of the vibrant Sydney Everest Carnival which runs from the end of September to the beginning of November as a fabulous celebration of racing in Australia and Sydney's ultimate spring celebration. This raceday features the $2 million The Big Dance but it is also on the same day as the Melbourne Cup at Flemington Racecourse, so you'll be able to watch the action on the big screens! Royal Randwick offers a stylish, fashionable, and, of course, fun day out for visitors of all ages, genders, and levels of racing knowledge. The course is world-class with some incredible facilities which is especially true during the Everest Carnival!
Following the racing, there's a major headline music act to celebrate the day's action!
The Big Dance on Cup Day Tickets
Royal Randwick Racecourse is separated into 2 main areas with a general admission zone and the Members' Reserve. To access the latter, racegoers need to be members of the Australian Turf Club. For more information, please see here. Members are also able to purchase access to Members' Hospitality areas and packages for themselves and their guests.
A General Admission ticket entitles the holder entry to the majority of racecourse areas but not those that are Members Only.
There's also a range of Public Hospitality options available for those wishing to make their raceday experience extra special!
