🎾 at Eastbourne is the very best. Attend every year

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that all the staff and volunteers wanted to make our day as perfect as it could be. The Marshall organising the parking was a complete legend, helping with my disabled mother.
The food areas are toilets were clearly marked and enough seating to be comfortable.
The venue was spotless, and the grass to walk on was like a putting green.
Then we move into the centre court, helpful, courteous , and friendly.
The tennis itself lived up to expectations and showed superlative athletes at their best.
Thank you for all the hard work by everyone. Even the pesky seagull who stole my croissant didn't spoil it. 😀.
Bucket list ticked

Great tennis as always and at a very well organised location.
Not very exciting tournament
Super day out
The atmosphere and organisation of the overall tennis event was fantastic as always. However, we were disappointed with the standard of what was offered at the Sky Lounge hospitality day. Its only saving grace to be honest was the friendliness and attention of the staff. Otherwise, I would say it was very poor value for money considering the inflated price compared to the previous year. Canapés were vaguely passed around rather than left on table. The food itself was very much “style over substance” - some strange concoctions, too, which were not appealing to either the eye or the palette. Chef would do better to stick to more commonplace ingredients, cooked well, and to cater for a wider range of tastes, especially those who don’t eat meat. I doubt we will do the Sky Lounge again.

There were 2 tents for info/assistance with no-one in them and massive coffee queues next door. More coffee bars wd go down well especially wen we all arrive as many/most have made a longish journey and need a coffee.
Pop music at Queens is noisy and intrusive. We had ground tickets for 19th June. We saw two double matches on Court 5 but by 3.30 there was no tennis to watch or schedules for the rest of the day (other than on centre court), reluctantly, we went home
Great venue well organized.
I have been on tuesday the 6-11-24 at the Boss Open! At first I have to mention that the parking situation is awfull, there have been free slots pretty close to the courts but there was a need of a reservation the officials told us,, so we have to choin the car park, this spot has been crowded at 11:30, so we had to wait for a couple of minutes - at the end of the day we had a bill for 16 Euro!! So if you travel from Karlsruhe like I did , public travel is no option!!!
The tournament was great, we have been lucky about the weather and the scedule, but also here prices for beverage and food are extremly expensive...
Best regards Bernd
Drop off point confusing. Ran out of sandwiches by 12:30pm. Chips only.
Great facility
Very bad crowd managing
Firstly when we arrived we had to wait for 1.5 hours before we were allowed into grounds/stadium for night game on Court Philippe Chatrier even though it tells you that you can arrive for 615pm and you can be admitted to walk around, eat and shop so why keep us outside Stadium??
After the afternoon games, the evening game spectators waiting outside Court Philippe Chatrier there were no officials directing crowds out and around stadium. We were outside in rain waiting to get into court for 2 hours and were pushed & shoved and bad mouthed by people coming out from afternoon games The French were shouting at us and I had a friend who suffered with Multiple Schlerosis and was pushed non stop It was her first visit and I was very embarrassed. I have gone to Roland Garros 14 years and always enjoy but not this year
Also not enough food as they had run out
No milk for tea, no sandwiches
Very badly managed for the crowds they were expecting.
Was very disappointed.
Not happy.

A great event to attend for tennis fans. We went Friday night (Centrale) and Saturday day (Grandstand) sessions of the first weekend. There were so many matches to choose from and we didn't always stay at our assigned court. Court 12 is a very small seating area and it's right up close to the players. Court Pietrangeli is an amazing scene--marble seats that don't get hot, statues everywhere and it's sunken below grade--you will never see anything like it. I highly recommend this tournament. Downside was trying to get a taxi after the night session ended, but that seemed to be an issue everywhere in Rome. We used the app, which was overwhelmed as well as the phone line.
Madrid 25th April 2024
Great event well organised. Plenty of toilets food okay seating and stalls okay. We will go again.
Overall, a very good tournament. Main stadium had good sight lines. Food variety was good. Suggested improvements: (1) direct bus from nearest Metro station, (2) better seating near food concessions, and (3) more tournament related merchandise available for sale. The merchandise was quite limited compared to Queens Club in London (another 500 point tournament).
There had been rain the night before affecting the 3 playing surfaces. we turned up at the scheduled starting time of 11am. Play started 5 hours later at 4pm. During this time, rather than working frantically on the centre court, occasionally one or two people would wander on to one of the three courts and spread sand and slowly do some work. In my opinion the organisers treated the paying public with absolute contempt. By the time it actually started, the weather had turned again most people had left frozen and disgusted. If they had focussed all resources from an early hour on the centre court play should have started at 11am. Having not had a tournament in Bucharest for years the amateurish way this was handled suggests there shouldn't be another one. We flew from the UK especially to watch the tennis and felt the way the public were treated was appalling.
fantastic atmosphere, good organisation except the parking situation
Very well organized. I extremely appreciated that nobody was allowed to pass by after the game started. No exception!
And I loved any and each of the tenis player. The toilets were a little too far, but happily were more than enough. Kiosks with souvenirs, coffee, snacks were also enough of them. And what was pure luck, great weather. Millions thanks to Mr. Țiriac who brought to reality something we only hoped to be, our great Ilie Năstase and Mr. Marica for this achievement.
