Beautiful grounds. Very efficient people moving throughout the day.. from car to door to car. I would go again.
Agree with not enough ease of access nor seating areas outside the main arena. Outlying seating on various holes should be provided. This has been a common and reoccurring issue on all LIV golf events we have attended.
Disgraceful Treatment. Tried for over a year to return tickets. Sent dozens of emails to all parts of Ryder Cup. Not one reply not a single one UNTIL three months out when a general email finally arrived telling me they were non-refundable. I lost nearly £2k on tickets. Would have been my 4th Ryder. Never again.
I must be the only golf enthusiast with coeliac. Absolutely nothing in terms of gluten-free or allergy information. You get told to ask the staff at the different eating venues - guess what? Not a single one I asked provided GF& I asked several. So thanks for leading me to believe there would be at least one place that would cater for GF as opposed to NONE! If you don’t mind starving all day it is a great day out! PS if there is a GF food seller then maybe [they] should have made that clear - no wait maybe I was supposed to ask every single food seller right?
Poor organisation from the start! The "opening ceremony" was a shambles! Asking for more money to attend was an utter disgrace and no wonder it was empty! What was the Queen tribute all about? Cringe worthy. No buses from Estepona even though it was the nearest big town! Everything went from moneybags Marbella!
The course was ridiculous to walk and not well signposted and I got lost trying to find my way back to the Plaza (seating area and big screen)
First day I went I had my water taken off me and no food was allowed either so we had to buy ridiculously priced water and basic food. It was €4 for a small froth filled beer.
Hardly any shade or seating for the many fans tired from walking the hilly course.
The final day was boiling hot! Again hardly any shade and you had to PAY an upgrade to obtain a wooden seat that took 2 men hours to put into place. Which should have been done earlier in the day or night before. Loads of faffing about by staff moving chairs and large potted plants whilst we tried to watch the matches on the one screen in the entire venue
Had to leave early on the last day as we knew we wouldn't be able to get back due to lack of transport to Estepona.
Overall an expensive underwhelming experience! A cash cow for the organisers from start to finish.
Would have liked some occasional bleachers for general admission tickets
The golf course was not at all fan friendly . It is a playing course not a walking course . No consideration for fans of all ages who spent a lot of money to support The Solheim Cup .
The tournament was pretty good, but I found a great place to stay right across the street on Redweek which provided easy access.
Volunteers are treated like trash being thrown
Well organized! Hospitality second to none! Veterans were warmly welcomed. Thank you to all the volunteers!
A little more info regarding playing times etc at the entrance would be helpful as not all of us knew about the LET App on the phone. We also found it difficult to find these on the aramco golf series site.
On the plus side we felt all the volunteers on the course were very helpful and friendly . we stayed for the 3 days and enjoyed the golf very much.
Great vibe on arrival, gates opened at 11.30, would have been good to get refreshments outside (90 minute queue)
Not sure the teams work that well !!!
Shot gun start good, then went a little flat.
Big gaps between groups coming through ????? ( over 34 minutes)
Entertainment and food stalls, plenty of choice.
Standard of golf excellent, very up close to players.
There were not enough faculties ( Beer,Food,Toilets etc; ) around the Course
What a fun event! Fantastic golf, beautiful setting. Thanks LIV!!
It was a great day. Enjoyed the tournament very much. I just wish that some seats would be provided in locations beyond the entrance. At 70 yrs old, 5 hrs of walking and standing was tough.
The communication of entry location, parking prebuy, parking on arrival, chairs, bag size, water, food, alcohol were all not able to be found on the web. This review would be a 1 star if the property wasn't so beautiful.
Maybe LIV can communicate in the future! The amount of fans will certainly shrink if LIV thinks the fans will guess what they can and can't bring.
Not allowed - chairs but some people did have chairs. Sunscree not allowed so get ready to throw away that $8 50% sunblock after one use. Water bottle yes if you empty the water in front of the ticket line. 6" x 6" purse maximum but lots of people brought backpacks, huh??
One star BS should be a lot better.
The event needs to be more ADA friendly. There was nowhere for a non wheelchair limited mobility attendee to sit. PGA tournaments at least have a general admission bleachers. Very disappointed in having to walk up steps to reach main entrance
Great Experience/Not enough shuttle buses/no food at the on-course shops, and cues were like 30-40minutes of waiting/No taxis to go back to Bangkok etc
Wow, what an awesome even!! We had a great time at this venue and look forward to attending another LIV event.
Koobit sent email when tickets went on sale for the golf tourney. The package we wanted wasn’t on sale yet but we were able to contact Zurich classic sales rep.
We ended up getting the package we wanted for Saturday. I had a great time with my sons watching the top tier of golf. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
