Tame Impala is an Australian psychedelic music project from Perth, created and led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. In the studio Parker writes, records and produces the music himself, while a live band brings the songs to the stage. The project emerged with early EPs before the debut album "Innerspeaker" drew widespread acclaim, followed by the breakout "Lonerism" and the globally celebrated "Currents". "The Slow Rush" continued their evolution with lush, rhythmic production and expansive songwriting.
Tame Impala’s sound blends psychedelic rock and pop with electronic textures and alternative sensibilities. Notable tracks include "Elephant", "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards", "Let It Happen", "The Less I Know the Better", "Borderline" and "Lost in Yesterday". Across their career they have received multiple ARIA Music Awards, APRA Awards and several Grammy nominations, and have headlined major festivals worldwide.
