π St. Louis BattleHawks History
The team participated in the first XFL games in 2020 when the league was led by Vince McMahon. The BattleHawks could only play for 5 weeks, however, before the Covid-19 pandemic and financial troubles led to the league shutting down all operations.
After the XFL was bought by Dwayne Johnson's Alpha Acquico, the BattleHawks were confirmed as a returning team for the 2023 season onwards, with Anthony Becht announced as the new head coach.
In 2024, the XFL merged with the USFL to become the UFL and the Battlehawks joined as a founding member.
