Gran Hotel Miramar is a historic five-star luxury hotel located on Paseo de Reding in the La Malagueta seafront area of Málaga, southern Spain. Overlooking the Mediterranean, it serves as both an exclusive city resort and an elegant base for visitors to the Costa del Sol.
The hotel typically hosts high-end leisure stays, corporate meetings, conferences, cultural gatherings, gastronomy events and private celebrations such as weddings and social functions, making extensive use of its salons, terraces and gardens.
Originally inaugurated in the 1920s as the grand Hotel Príncipe de Asturias, it was one of Málaga’s most prestigious establishments. During and after the Spanish Civil War the building was repurposed, including service as a hospital and later housing judicial and administrative offices. Following a long period of closure, it underwent a major restoration in the 21st century and reopened under the Hoteles Santos group as the Gran Hotel Miramar, returning it to its former Belle Époque splendour.
