Founded in 1875, Somerset CCC is a cricket club that takes part in the County Championship, One Day Cup, and Vitality Blast. The team has won the One Day Cup on 4 occasions and the T20 Blast twice – most recently in 2023.
Formidable limited-over competitors, Somerset have been boosted by the presence of a number of international superstars over the years. Most notably, Viv Richards, Ian Botham, and Joel Garner turned out for the county in the 1970s and 1980s. More recently, stars like Marcus Trescothick, Andy Caddick, Craig Overton, and Craig Kieswetter have helped Somerset vye for honours across all formats of the game.
