Simple Plan is a Canadian pop-punk band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Formed in 1999 by former members of the punk band Reset, they blend energetic "pop punk" hooks with elements of "alternative rock", "pop rock", "power pop" and "emo". The classic line-up features Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco and Sébastien Lefebvre.
Their debut album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls" (2002) produced singles such as "I'm Just a Kid", "I'd Do Anything", "Addicted" and "Perfect". Follow-up "Still Not Getting Any..." (2004) yielded hits including "Welcome to My Life" and "Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?)". Later albums "Simple Plan", "Get Your Heart On!", "Taking One for the Team" and "Harder Than It Looks" cemented their global success. They recorded the theme for "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" and created the Simple Plan Foundation, earning honours such as the Juno Fan Choice Award and the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award. In the 2020s they marked their 25th anniversary with the documentary "Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd" and the single "Nothing Changes".
