Simple Minds are a rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, founded in 1977. Their breakthrough album, 'New Gold Dream (81/82/83/84)', was followed by a string of hits including 'Don't You (Forget About Me)', featured in the movie "The Breakfast Club," and 'Alive and Kicking'.
