LIVE AT LAGUNA LIBRE Great music · Good food Sherman Irby, lead alto saxophonist of Wynton Marsalis’s Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, reinterprets Thelonious Monk in a quartet. More than a tribute, this is a contemporary reimagining of Monk’s legacy: dissonance and lyricism in balance, the sound of New York meeting the sensibility of the European jazz scene. From the rhythmic shifts of the up-tempo pieces to the airy atmospheres of the ballads, this is a stimulating concert deeply rooted in the blues. One of the finest alto saxophonists on today’s scene, Irby is also a composer and arranger for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. No second restaurant reservation is needed: your table is already included with the ticket. This option includes dinner, which is not included in the ticket price: order from the menu and pay at Laguna Libre. ◇ Ticket · Concert only Your own seat for listening, with no dinner table. Seats are not numbered. Drinks and cicchetti can be ordered at the bar and paid for separately. ◇ Dinner first, then the concert Take your time over dinner on the terrace or in another area of the venue by booking a table at lagunalibre.it, then enter the concert hall with a “Concert only” ticket. Make sure you have time to finish dinner before the set begins. ── TWO SETS, TWO TIME SLOTS ── ◇ 1st set · 18:00–19:00 Entry to the concert hall from 17:30; table available until 20:00. A convenient time slot for families with children and teenagers, too. ◇ 2nd set · 20:30–22:30 With a break of about 20 minutes. Entry to the concert hall from 20:00. Each ticket is valid for the selected set. Entry after the concert has begun is still possible.
