📜 Seth Rollins History
Years before arriving in WWE, Seth Rollins started his pro-wrestling career with Ring of Honor, where he worked under the name Tyler Black. During his time with the company, Rollins won the ROH World Championship and the ROH World Tag Team Championship. He also performed for a range of similar indie promotions, including Pro Guerilla Wrestling and Full Impact Pro.
After receiving interest from WWE in 2010, Rollins signed a deal with the organization and began work in its developmental promotion FCW. When FCW became NXT in 2012, Rollins became the first-ever NXT Champion.
Soon after winning the NXT Championship, Rollins made his debut on WWE's main roster alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (now AEW's Jon Moxley) as part of a faction called The Shield. Reigns and Rollins would go on to win the WWE Tag Team Championships before the group disbanded.
Rollins' singles career has seen him take on a number of personas, including The Architect, The Visionary, and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. A fan favourite thanks to his exciting wrestling style and larger-than-life personality, Rollins achieved more in his first decade with WWE than some wrestlers do in a lifetime. As well as winning the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2014, the Royal Rumble in 2019, he is a 2-time WWE Grand Slam champion, having held the World Heavyweight Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, and Tag Team Championship during his tenure.
Named as Pro Wrestling Illustrated's number one wrestler in the world in both 2015 and 2019, Seth Rollins has forged a Hall-of-Fame-worthy career in WWE, and remains one of the most well-rounded talents of his generation.
