📜 San Antonio Brahmas History
When the XFL was led by Vince McMahon, there was no team based in San Antonio. League play began in 2020 and was only able to continue for 5 weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic and financial issues caused operations to shut down.
After the XFL was bought by Dwayne Johnson's Alpha Acquico, the league confirmed that the former New York market would be replaced by a team in San Antonio. The Brahmas announced their first head coach as Hines Ward.
In 2024, the XFL merged with the USFL to become the UFL and the Brehmas joined as a founding member.
