Taxis can pick up and drop off on the roads surrounding the venue.

Buses in Playa del Carmen are almost exclusively used by locals rather than tourists; they largely serve the local residential neighbourhoods rather than tourist destinations – such as El Cameleon Golf Club/Mayakoba resort – and getting around in them is much slower than in a car or taxi, so they are not recommended.

There is no train station in Playa del Carmen.

If you're staying in one of the Mayakoba resorts, then you're already on-site and within walking distance of the course. If you're staying in Playa del Carmen, however, it could be up to a 9.2 km (110 min) walk and so transportation will be required.
