Randy Orton (full name Randal Keith Orton) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently a part of WWE's Raw brand.
📜 Randy Orton History
A third-generation talent, Randy Orton is the son of former WWE star "Cowboy" Bob Orton and grandson of popular wrestler "The Big O" Bob Orton Sr. After leaving the military in 1999, Orton followed in the family footsteps by beginning to train as a wrestler. He spent time with Mid-Missouri Wrestling and Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling before being signed by WWE in 2001.
Randy Orton debuted on WWE's main roster in 2002, but made his first significant impression on wrestling fans in 2003, when he joined heel faction Evolution alongside Ric Flair, Triple H, and Batista. Orton further established himself as one of wrestling's top villains in 2003 by attacking WWE Hall of Famers, earning the nickname "The Legend Killer" in the process.
At the age of just 24, Randy Orton became the youngest world champion in WWE history after defeating Chris Benoit at SummerSlam. It was the first step towards a Hall-of-Fame-worthy career in which Orton has mostly competed as a sly, methodical, untrustworthy character nicknamed "The Viper" and "The Apex Predator". Despite this, Orton's extraordinary ability and unpredictable persona have helped him to become a favourite among many fans.
A star for over 2 decades, Randy Orton is one of WWE's Grand Slam Champions, having won the World Heavyweight Championship, World Tag Team Championship, United States Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and Intercontinental Championship. He also won the 2013 Money in the Bank ladder match and the Royal Rumble in both 2009 and 2017, solidifying his legacy as one of WWE's modern greats.
