Cape Town station, the city's main rail hub, is located just a 2.5 km (30 min) walk from the stadium. The station is well-connected to the Cape Town's many suburbs, thanks to the city's metro network, and is also connected to the rest of South Africa by rail. If you do not wish to walk from the station to the stadium, the 108, 109, 113, D05, and T01 buses all travel between the 2 locations.
There are plenty of cycle lanes and routes in and around Cape Town, making it an attractive place to take to 2 wheels. For those who wish to hire or drop-off a bike, there is an Up Cycles station located in Silo 5 of the Victoria and Albert Waterfront.
Walking is a straightforward way to reach the venue, whether you are staying nearby or travelling into Cape Town especially for an event. From Cape Town city centre it is a 3.0 km (36 min) walk to the stadium, whilst for those who come into the city on the train, it is just a 2.5 km (30 min) walk from the main station.
If you are travelling from one of Cape Town's outer suburbs, it may be preferable to catch a bus or a taxi.
