Estádio do Dragão

Estádio do Dragão is a football stadium in Porto, Portugal. It opened in 2003, replacing the Estádio das Antas as the home of FC Porto. Its inaugural match, a friendly game between Porto and Barcelona, is notable for featuring the debut of a 16-year-old Lionel Messi for the visiting side. The following year, the stadium was used as a host venue during UEFA Euro 2004. It has also been used to host major matches such as the 2019 UEFA Nations League final – in which Portugal delighted the home crowd by triumphing 1-0 over the Netherlands – and the 2021 UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea.
