Stadion Narodowy im. Kazimierza Górskiego, also known simply as Stadion Narodowy or PGE Narodowy for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium located in Warsaw, Poland. It is the home of the Polish national football team.

📜 History

The stadium opened in 2012 on the site of Stadion Dziesięciolecia, which had stood since 1955 but had been used as a bazaar since 1989 after becoming dilapidated.

It opened in time to be used at UEFA Euro 2012, where it hosted 5 games including one of the semifinals. It also held the VII SuperFinal PLFA (also known as the "Polish Bowl"), the championship game of the Polish American Football League, shortly afterward, and since 2015 it has regularly held the annual Speedway Grand Prix of Poland.

Inspired by venues such as BC Place in Vancouver and the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Stadion Narodowy boasts a retractable PVC roof which folds into a nest suspended on a spire above the pitch.

With its 58,580 capacity, it is Poland's largest football stadium.

🍔 Food & Drink

Food and beverages can be purchased from concessions stands throughout the stadium, including local favourite zapiekanka (a warmed open baguette), hot dogs, and crisps.

Guests can use debit or credit cards at these stands, and most will also accept contactless payment such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Some stands will also accept cash in local currency (Polish złoty).

💂 Entry Gates

The perimeter of the site has 11 entrances, and there are 18 gates located around the circumference of the stadium itself labelled A through S. Please use the entrance that corresponds to your ticket.
