Paris Football Club, commonly referred to as Paris FC or PFC, is a professional football team based in Paris, France. The club comes in the upper tiers of French football. Paris FC was established in 1969, originally as part of a plan to create a strong Parisian club that could compete with the country's best. Though initially merged with Stade Saint-Germain to form Paris Saint-Germain, they later split.
