Pakistan became a Full Member of the International Cricket Council in 1952, and since then the Men in Green have made a remarkable name for themselves, becoming one of the game’s elite teams. In 1954, just 2 years after acquiring Test status, Pakistan managed to secure an admirable victory against England at The Oval. Pakistan’s most significant achievements in the sport include winning the Cricket World Cup in 1992, as well as the T20 World Cup in 2009. Notably, Pakistan has won each of the significant ICC international cricket tournaments: ICC Cricket World Cup (1992), ICC T20 World Cup (2009), and ICC Champions Trophy (2017).
