Club Atlético Osasuna - more commonly known as CA Osasuna or simply Osasuna - is a Spanish professional football club based in Pamplona, Navarre and currently playing in the country's top tier La Liga. They play their home games at El Sadar Stadium.
Founded in 1920, Osasuna takes its name from the Basque word for "health" or "strength". Though they started their professional career in the third division, the club rose up the tiers and has recently played a significant number of seasons in La Liga. The club uses a cantera system where they have produced several successful players from the Basque region.
