The Oman national cricket team represents Oman and is governed by the Oman Cricket Board, which became an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, before gaining Associate status in 2014. In 2019, Oman achieved One-Day International status for the first time after they beat tournament hosts Namibia in the ICC World Cricket League Division 2. In just 4 years, the team has become one of the strongest associate teams in cricket and an established ODI nation. They have also established themselves in T20Is, and participated in a T20 World Cup.
