The Bobcats are the football team of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Ohio has been a member of several different conferences in its history, including the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Buckeye Athletic Association, and since 1947, the MAC. The Bobcats have won 11 conference titles, with 5 of these victories coming in the MAC era.
Ohio is famous for its marching band, the Ohio University Marching 110, which has performed at events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and many NFL games.
The Bobcats play their home games at Peden Stadium, which has a capacity of 27,000.
