The Wolfpack is the football team of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
NC State claims 11 conference titles, including 3 from the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Athletic Association, 1 from the Southern Conference, and 7 from the ACC. NC State was a founding member of the ACC and has competed in the conference since 1953.
The Wolfpack is known for its mascot, a strutting wolf named Tuffy. In 2010, the program restored an old tradition of having a live mascot in the stadium, and a Tamaskan dog called Tuffy has attended every home game since then.
The team plays its home games at Carter-Finley Stadium, which has a capacity of 57,583.
