The King Abdullah Sport City complex is very accessible by car. From King Abdulaziz International Airport it takes between 10 and 20 minutes to drive to the venue, and from central Jeddah it can take between 30 and 60 minutes.

The Sport City site is flanked by 2 major roads, Prince Talal Bin Masour Road to the north, and Prince Khaled Bin Abdullah Road to the south. Drivers can access the complex via either of these roads; the Sport City is clearly signposted, and there are multiple numbered entry gates located off both roads. On-site car parking is available in large lots which surround the Sport City Stadium and the other Sport City venues.

Taxis can drop attendees within the Sport City complex. From King Abdulaziz International Airport the journey to the complex takes between 10-20 minutes, and from central Jeddah it takes between 30-60 minutes. Taxis should be booked in advance.

There are very few bus stops located close to The King Abdullah Sport City complex. Many major bus interchanges, such as the King Abdulaziz University Bus Station, are situated closer to central Jeddah, approximately 25 to 35 minutes from the venue by car.

The closest major train stations to The King Abdullah Sport City complex, such as Jeddah Al-Sulaymaniyah Train Station, are located close to central Jeddah, between 30 and 60 minutes away from the venue by car.

Due to the often hot temperatures in the region and the fact that the Sport City is located a considerable distance from central Jeddah, cycling to the venue is not recommended, unless you are travelling from within very close proximity to the venue - for example from the very south of the Al Asalah suburb, or the very north of the Jawhra suburb..
