The experience was awesome. All the fans were friendly and respectful. The food was delicious. The stadium and bathrooms were clean. Everything was better than back home in LA. The only thing I would change would be to have more shops selling apparel, especially inside the stadium for those who bought tickets and maybe having purchase limits for a special event such as this one to prevent scalpers.
We purchased tickets to go inside to the main area. We arrived just early afternoon. All autographs were not available, main attractions that needed reservations were full. Advise would be to show up when they open.
Everything was good except the lines to get food. Seemed like the volunteers were unsure on how to make certain things or the process in handling a large crowd in order to be efficient. I missed an inning and a half waiting in line for the nachos.
We had an absolute blast, from 1PM to nearly 8 PM (with a 7, 4, and 1 year old). The entertainment around (and during) the game was terrific. Thanks for such an outstanding show!
We got last minute tickets from vivid, they were great seats for the price. Loved the event, excellent atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was great, good veggie options. The queues could be really long so bear that in mind but it was nice to walk around the outside and look at the vendors and other stuff going on before the game.
Event and staff were great, however no restrooms had paper supplies. Oddest thing!
Try adding napkins stations at all food vendors. I had to get me food, go in one direction to get a napkin and then go in another direction to sit down. At the Twins complex there are napkins available at all food vendors AND at the condiment station.
Absolutely shocking event. The organisation was atrocious - staff had no idea what they were doing, huge queues for everything, very low quality food. MLB should be issuing refunds for this -truly embarrassing.
Very Poor- very poorly organised, or MLB just made a very low effort. No seats, no shade, only 5 small food booths, the que I was in for tacos took c 25 mins to order and another 40 mins to be delivered, before arriving was going to try different foods- but the ques were too long in the sun without shade. Too few loo's. Just really bad. Very amateurish.
Appallingly run event. All standing, couldn't see anything but a big screen (should have watched at home), no shade at all on a very hot day, dubious use of team names given there was only one actual baseball player per team. Food terrible with many stands running out early. Hot water provided and long queues at the ONE bar for more.
Very poorly organised
The event was poorly organised. Not enough to see/do for that many people in attendance. VIP package offered no real perks/benefits, so was a total waste of money.
Venue staff were clueless. No real programme of events or information ahead of time. Dubious use of team names, despite lack of actual team players.
Feel like I’ve been conned. Would not recommend this event to anyone.
Event information poor. Several emails on having your tickets on the ticket master app. But nothing on parking availability, the fact you couldn't bring your own water in, play schedule, etc. On arrival marshals didn't have briefing at all on parking or event.. One said: baseball no I don't think there are players. It's all on big screen..
New bottles of water had to be opened and emptied at the entrance but was assured we could refill them inside..we finally found the refill station in food court (5 food stands for way to many people) which provided warm water.. Forcing you to buy cold fresh water in the food court but only if you were prepared to stand in a queue with more than 70 people in front of you ( yes we counted them)
The home run session was fun to watch but everything around it was poorly organised..
Badly organised- not enough to do or see for £33 a ticket. Saw so many people (including me and my husband) leave early.
Boring and disorganised
If there was a zero this would get it. Can’t see anything as there is just a small stage in a field. Standing only. Could have watched screens at home. Lines for food we’re to long and weren’t the authentic food promised except the hot dogs but the line was the longest and slow moving. Also the players were not authentic. The Red Sox used a female who is actually a champion football player not baseball or softball. Doesn’t make for good watching unless you wanted to see a bloopers reel.
Disgustingly organised - or should I say not organised. First game over a 1 hour delayed.
